Head Swimming Coach – Sunbury Amateur Swimming Club

Karen is a qualified Bronze Level Swimming Coach with over 30 years of experience teaching and coaching in the Aquatics industry.

Karen’s association with the Sunbury Amateur Swimming Club exceeds 20 years. She began her association as a young developing, and competitive swimmer. Over the years she has taken a number of supporting roles. Currently as Head Coach she is keen to see the continuation of and further development of our club. Karen incorporates her vast knowledge from all areas of Aquatics Industry and Teaching experience into her training and coaching program. Karen is happy to provide swimming sessions which include competitive and non- competitive swimmers, full inclusion of Multi-Class swimmers as well as swimming for general fun and fitness.

Previously Head Coach with Swimming Victoria for Swimmers with a Disability
Previously Head Coach with the Victorian Development Squad
Secondary School Teacher of Physical Education and Health
Bronze Level Coach
Currently working toward Silver Licence and Open Water qualification
International Level 2 Classifier with the International Paralympics Committee
